00 MTZ 3834 Blue Bar Hen: medium body, pearl-gravel eye. This bird
carries about as much of the Planet Brother Van Loon blood as you will
ever see in the Zazueta birds. Her sire is pure Van Loon, son of "Blackie-Z"
when paired to a Holland-bred Van Loon hen. Dam of 3834 is a daughter
of "Zeke" when he was paired to "2377" one of the
best breeders in Zazueta’s loft in the late eighties. Since the "Blackie-Z"
blood worked so well with the old core Vernazza birds, this hen would
be an excellent choice to put back on a more "core" line bred
pigeon. "180’ is in her pedigree four times, all on her dam’s
side. If you have Van Loons and would like to add some tenacity and distance
ability to them, here’s your bird.
